What we do

Every service, every job —
done properly.

Manufacturer-spec intervals, dealer-level diagnostics and OEM-grade parts. Every service is quoted in writing against your VIN before work begins, with a clear, line-itemised breakdown.

  • 01

    Audi log book servicing

Minor and major servicing to the manufacturer schedule for your exact model, engine and build — engine oil and filter, cabin and air filtration, brake fluid when due, and a full multi-point inspection.

  • 02

    Engine oil & filter servicing

Correct Audi-approved engine oil specification selected for the exact engine, model year and VIN, with the correct OE-quality or genuine filter.

  • 03

    DSG / S tronic servicing

Fluid and filter servicing on DQ250, DQ381, DQ500, DL382 and DL501 units. Service requirements depend on transmission type and the manufacturer schedule for your car — we confirm from your VIN.

  • 04

    Haldex & quattro maintenance

Haldex coupling oil and filter servicing where fitted, plus driveline inspection on quattro models. Applicability depends on generation and model.

  • 05

    Audi diagnostics & fault finding

ODIS-supported fault finding, live data, adaptations and diagnostic procedures across every module — not a generic OBD code read. Check engine light diagnosis with evidence before any repair is quoted.

  • 06

    Cooling-system repairs

Coolant leaks, water pump and thermostat faults, expansion tanks, hoses and radiators. Housings are inspected for leakage and deterioration during servicing.

  • 07

    Oil & coolant leak repairs

Traced properly on the hoist and photographed — rocker cover and chain cover gaskets, sump seals, oil coolers, turbo feed and return lines, coolant flanges.

  • 08

    Timing-system diagnosis & repair

Timing-system requirements vary by engine family, build date, service history and measured condition. We assess correlation values, stored faults, start-up noise and relevant live data before recommending work.

  • 09

    Suspension & control-arm repairs

Control arms, bushes, ball joints, wheel bearings, shocks and air suspension faults on A6, A7, A8 and Q7 platforms, with alignment afterwards where required.

  • 10

    Brake servicing

Pads, discs, sensors, handbrake actuators and electronic parking brake service positions, plus brake fluid to the manufacturer interval.

  • 11

    Carbon cleaning where indicated

Carbon cleaning may be recommended where symptoms, inspection or diagnostic findings indicate intake-valve deposits — borescoped first, never sold on a generic interval.

  • 12

    Pre-purchase inspections

On-hoist inspection, ODIS multi-module scan, road test and a written report before you sign on an A3, A4, Q5, S or RS.

  • 13

    Performance calibration (secondary)

Performance calibration and supporting hardware are available on selected Audi platforms. Suitability depends on ECU/TCU type, existing modifications, fuel and intended use.

Why Apex

Dealer-grade work.
Without the dealer wait-list.

  • 01

    Independent Audi specialist

A specialist independent workshop, not a dealership. Audi work is core business here, from A3 oil services to RS driveline repairs.

  • 02

    Manufacturer-level diagnostics

Manufacturer-level Audi/VAG diagnostic software including ODIS where required — live data, guided functions, adaptations and correct coding after repair.

  • 03

    Correct parts specification

Reputable OE-quality or OEM-equivalent parts that meet the required specification, with genuine Audi parts available on request.

  • 04

    Written approval before extra work

Nothing additional happens without your written approval. Findings are photographed or filmed on the hoist and sent to you first.

  • 05

    Documented properly

Where applicable, the physical service book is stamped. Every completed service is supported by an itemised invoice, completed service and inspection sheet and relevant photo/video evidence.

  • 06

    Warranty-safe servicing

Australian Consumer Law protects your statutory warranty when your Audi is serviced to the manufacturer schedule with correct-specification parts. We follow it every service.

Deep dive

Everyday Audi servicing

Not every Audi that comes to Apex is an S or RS model. A large part of our work is looking after everyday Audi vehicles that owners rely on for commuting and family use. Whether your A3 needs its scheduled service, your Q5 has developed a coolant leak, your A4 has a warning light or your Q7 is due for preventative maintenance, the same specialist diagnostic and inspection process applies.

That means your car is booked in properly, the schedule is confirmed against your VIN, the service is carried out to the manufacturer specification, and anything we find is photographed and quoted in writing before it is touched. You get a written, line-itemised quote based on your vehicle, VIN and required service scope — never a verbal estimate that changes at pickup.

How we diagnose an Audi fault

A warning light is a starting point, not a diagnosis. We read every module with manufacturer-level Audi/VAG diagnostic software including ODIS where required, log live data under the conditions the fault actually appears in, and test components individually rather than replacing parts in sequence.

You then get a plain-English written explanation with the evidence attached, and a written quote based on your vehicle, VIN and required repair scope. If we think the right answer is to monitor rather than repair, we will tell you that too.

Will servicing my Audi at Apex affect my new-car warranty?+

No. Australian Consumer Law allows you to have your Audi serviced at any qualified workshop using correct-specification parts and manufacturer procedures without affecting your statutory warranty. We service to the factory schedule and document the work fully.

How much does an Audi service cost?+

It depends on the model, engine, build year and the interval that is due. Send your registration or VIN and we will send a written, line-itemised quote for your car — usually within the business day.

Do you use genuine Audi parts?+

Genuine Audi parts are available on request. As standard we fit reputable OE-quality or OEM-equivalent parts that meet the required specification for your engine and build.

Do you keep a record of the service?+

Yes. Where applicable, the physical service book is stamped. Every completed service is supported by an itemised invoice, completed service and inspection sheet and relevant photo/video evidence. We do not write to manufacturer-controlled service-history systems.

Do you service DSG and S tronic gearboxes?+

Do you only work on S and RS models?+

No — the majority of our Audi work is everyday A3, A4, A5, A6, Q3, Q5 and Q7 servicing, diagnostics and repairs. S and RS work sits alongside it.

Do you offer pickup and drop-off?+

Pickup and drop-off is available by prior arrangement, subject to location and availability. We do not offer loan cars.
