Volkswagen engines we carbon clean
These are the Volkswagen direct-injection families we handle most often in Melbourne's east. Access and procedure differ between them, so every car is borescoped and quoted individually rather than priced off a generic list.
EA888 gen1–gen4
Golf GTI, Golf R, Tiguan, Passat, Škoda Octavia RS, CUPRA Leon and Formentor. Manifold off, ports sealed, blasted under vacuum.
EA113 2.0 TFSI
Mk5 Golf GTI and Golf R. Early direct injection with typically heavy deposits by now.
EA211 1.4 / 1.5 TSI
Polo GTI, Golf, T-Roc. Smaller engines, same physics — restricted ports upset idle and economy first.
Combined with plugs and coils
Access is already open at that level, so plugs, coils and injector seals are best done in the same visit.
PCV and oil separator
A failing crankcase ventilation system is the usual reason carbon returns quickly. Inspected and quoted while apart.
DSG service in the same visit
Many Golf R and GTI owners combine the intake clean with a DSG fluid service to save a second workshop visit.
