- 01
911 log book service
Porsche C40 (or model-appropriate) spec oil, correct filters, PIWIS service reset, log book stamped. Every interval on every 911 generation from 996 forward.
- 02
M96 / M97 IMS inspection
For 996 and early 997 owners — the IMS bearing question is worth asking properly. We inspect condition and discuss options honestly, not aggressively.
- 03
PDK service
PDK oil and filter on Porsche interval. The dealer often talks around it — we do it properly, on the right interval, with the correct spec fluid.
- 04
Brakes & ceramic composite
PCCB inspection and pad replacement where fitted, steel-brake service, brake fluid on 2-year interval — non-negotiable on a car this fast.
- 05
Cooling & belts
Coolant on interval, expansion tank condition, drive-belt inspection. Cheap to check, expensive to ignore.
- 06
PIWIS diagnostics & coding
Dealer-level Porsche diagnostic tool. Every module read, every stored fault logged, coding and firmware updates handled properly.
Dealer-grade work.
Without the dealer wait-list.

911 is a specialist car
Not a car to hand to a general mechanic. We know each generation's quirks — 996 IMS, 997 bore-scoring risk on certain models, 991 GT-line service specifics, 992 electronics.
- 02
PIWIS-equipped
Porsche's dealer-level diagnostic tool. Not a generic OBD reader. Every module readable, everything codable, service resets done properly.
- 03
OEM parts on request
Genuine Porsche parts on request. Otherwise Porsche-approved suppliers matching factory spec exactly. All line-itemised on your invoice.
- 04
Warranty preserved
For newer 911s under manufacturer warranty, we service to Porsche specification and stamp the book — your statutory warranty under Australian Consumer Law is preserved.
- 05
Photos, quotes, no games
Every finding photographed. Every extra approved in writing. No 'we found more work while we were in there' calls without your say-so.
- 06
Real Porsche experience
The workshop sees 911s constantly — 992 Turbos, GT3s, Carrera S, and older 997s and 996s. We know the platform, not just from a workshop manual.
Common questions,
straight answers.
Will independent servicing void my Porsche warranty?+
No. Under Australian Consumer Law, servicing at a qualified independent workshop using Porsche-spec parts and procedures does not affect your statutory warranty. We follow the factory schedule, use the right oil, stamp the book, and update service history in PIWIS.
How much does a Porsche 911 service cost in Melbourne?+
Depends on generation and interval. 991/992 basic oil services start meaningfully lower than the dealer; larger intervals with fluid changes, plugs and inspection are higher. Send the VIN and interval and we'll send a written, line-itemised quote same business day.
Do you work on air-cooled 911s?+
Yes — the pre-996 air-cooled cars still come through the workshop. Different beast to modern 911s but we're set up for them. Talk to us about the specific car before booking.
IMS bearing on my 996 — should I be worried?+
The M96 IMS is a real issue on 996 and early 997 (dual-row and single-row variants). Whether you preventatively replace it depends on year, model, mileage, and your risk appetite. We'll inspect and give you a straight answer — some cars we recommend replacement, some we don't.
Do you service PDK?+
Yes. PDK fluid and filter on manufacturer interval. Porsche's service messaging can be misleading — the fluid needs changing. We do it with the correct spec fluid and reset the service in PIWIS.
Where are you located?+
Wantirna South, South East Melbourne. Easy from Toorak, Malvern, Brighton, Glen Waverley and the eastern suburbs. Call 0483 939 216 to book.
Ready for a proper quote?
Send your registration or VIN, current kilometres and what the car needs. We come back with the scope in writing — usually within the business day — and nothing extra is carried out without your approval.
