Questions

Common questions,
straight answers.

Will servicing my Porsche at Apex void my new-car warranty?+

No. Australian Consumer Law allows you to service your Porsche at any qualified workshop using manufacturer-spec parts and procedures without affecting your statutory warranty. We follow the factory Porsche schedule, fit the correct parts and fluids, and stamp your log book.

Do you use genuine Porsche parts?+

Genuine Porsche OEM is used on request — just say so when booking. As standard we fit Porsche-approved premium suppliers (Pagid, Mobil 1, Mahle, NGK, Bosch) that match or exceed factory specification.

How much does a Porsche service cost in Melbourne?+

Pricing depends on model, year, engine and service interval. Minor services on most Porsches is the lightest interval; Major services with brake fluid, spark plugs and PDK fluid are higher. Send us your rego or VIN and we'll send a written, line-itemised quote — usually within the business day.

Do you service PDK and Tiptronic?+

Yes — PDK oil and filter changes are core work. Porsche specifies a PDK service interval that's routinely skipped by general workshops, and the gearbox damage that results is expensive. Getting it done on time is the single best thing you can do for the drivetrain.

Do you service GT3, GT4 and tracked Porsches?+

Yes — GT3, GT4, GT3 RS and tracked 911s and Caymans are core business. We're across track-prep, brake fluid swaps between events, pad and rotor service, alignment, fluid temperatures and corner-balance work.

Where are you located?+

Apex Performance Tuning is in South East Melbourne. Easy to reach from the M1, EastLink and the wider Melbourne metro. Call 0483 939 216 for the workshop address and to book in.
