Fuchs Titan 10W-60 (the correct S65 spec), genuine BMW oil filter, brake fluid on interval, coolant and diff/DCT fluid checks. Full underbody inspection, service book stamped, digital record kept.

S65 rod bearing renewal
The known S65 weakness — original bearings tighten up around 100k km. We fit correct-spec ACL bearings, refresh the oil pump nut and sump gasket, and replace the engine mounts while we're in there.

Full in-house engine rebuilds
Top to bottom S65 rebuilds carried out in-house. Whether it's a freshen-up or a full bottom-end and head package, we build it here and run it in properly.

Throttle body & idle actuator service
Eight individual throttle bodies, two idle actuators. We clean, sync, and reset adaptations with ISTA — smooths out cold-start hunting and the classic S65 idle wander.

DCT / SMG service
M-DCT clutch pack fluid and filter to BMW interval, or SMG hydraulic bleed and pump check for 6MT-swap-curious owners. Adaptations reset in ISTA after.

Cooling system refresh
Expansion tank, thermostat, water pump on the S65 all have a known service life. We pressure-test and replace on condition — before you're stranded, not after.

What oil does the E92 M3 take?+
Fuchs Titan Race Pro S 10W-60 (or equivalent BMW-approved 10W-60). The S65 V8 was engineered around this viscosity — running thinner oil accelerates rod bearing wear. We use Fuchs Titan 10W-60 and genuine BMW oil filters on every E92 service.
When should I do rod bearings on my E92 M3?+
BMW itself now recommends inspection around 100,000 km. If your car has never had them done and you're near that mileage, book it in — bearing failure on the S65 is expensive. We renew with correct-spec ACL bearings and replace the engine mounts while we're in there.
Can you rebuild my S65 engine?+
Yes — full in-house engine rebuilds top to bottom. We can handle everything from a bottom-end freshen-up to a complete S65 rebuild, all done in our Wantirna South workshop.
How much does an E92 M3 service cost?+
It depends on the interval and what's due — an oil service on Fuchs Titan 10W-60 with a genuine filter is a smaller job than an Inspection II with plugs, fluids and filters. Send us your VIN or rego and we'll quote it in writing, usually the same business day. Call 0483 939 216.
