BMW LL-01/LL-04 spec oil, correct filters, ISTA service reset, DCT/MDCT/ZF 8HP fluid on interval — everything the schedule says, done properly.

S55 charge pipe replacement
The plastic OEM pipe fails. We fit BMS or Wagner aluminium replacements with new clamps and diverter valve check — one afternoon job.

S65 rod bearing renewal
Rod bearing wear is the well-known S65 weakness — BMW itself recommends inspection around 100,000 km. We renew with correct-spec ACL bearings and refresh the sump gasket and engine mounts while we are in there.

MHD & bootmod3 tuning
Full flash tuning on S55 and S58. Stage 1 through Stage 2+, backup files stored, before/after data logs on request.

DCT / MDCT / ZF 8HP service
M3-specific transmission service — the DCT in F80 and the ZF 8HP in G80 both need fluid on interval regardless of 'lifetime' claims.

How much does an M3 service cost in Melbourne?+
Depends on model, year and interval. F80/G80 oil services is the lightest interval; Inspection services with fluid, plugs and filters are higher. Send us your rego or VIN and we'll come back with a written, line-itemised quote — usually same business day.
My F80 M3 has the S55 charge pipe issue — can you fix it?+
Yes, one of our most common M3 jobs. We fit an aluminium replacement (BMS or Wagner) with new clamps, inspect the diverter valve and PCV lines, and datalog after to confirm boost is holding. Usually an afternoon in the workshop.
Do you tune stock M3s?+
Yes — S55 and S58 both respond very well to a Stage 1 flash. MHD and bootmod3 supported. Stock hardware, 98 or E-blend, safe knock margins, and a datalog before you leave the workshop.
Will tuning void my M3 warranty?+
A flash tune is detectable by BMW and will affect the powertrain portion of manufacturer warranty. Some tuning platforms allow returning the car to stock before dealer visits — we're honest about this before we tune anything. Talk to us before you decide.
Do you service E92 S65 V8 M3s?+
Yes. E92 is a favourite in our workshop — S65 rod bearings are a common job around 100k km, and we know the oil pump nut and engine mount weak points to check on every service.
