A European car is not harder to service than any other car — it is less forgiving of being serviced generically. Oil specification, coolant chemistry, transmission fluid, brake-fluid interval and inspection items are all model and VIN specific, and the diagnostic side needs manufacturer-level software rather than a generic code reader.

That is the entire reason this workshop exists. We run manufacturer-level diagnostic software for our core marques, we look up the schedule that applies to your exact build rather than an average one, and we fit parts that meet the required specification with genuine parts available on request.

We are an independent workshop, not a dealership. That means you deal with the people working on the car, you see photo and video evidence of anything we find, and nothing beyond the agreed scope happens without your written approval.

On arrival the car gets a full diagnostic scan across every module before any work starts, so stored and pending faults are known up front. Anything found beyond the original job is photographed, quoted in writing, and only carried out once you approve it.

You leave with the physical service book stamped where applicable, a completed service and inspection sheet, relevant photo and video evidence, and an itemised invoice in plain English. We do not offer loan cars; pickup and drop-off is available by prior arrangement, subject to location and availability.

Every service includes a genuine multi-point inspection rather than a tick sheet. These are the areas that most often decide whether a European daily driver stays cheap to own:

• Cooling system

  Water pumps, thermostats, plastic coolant housings and hoses inspected for seepage, staining and deterioration — the single most common source of expensive European failures.

• Oil leaks

  Valve-cover and oil-filter-housing gaskets, sump and rear main areas checked and photographed so you can see the difference between a weep and a real problem.

• Transmission fluid condition

  Assessed on the unit fitted and its history rather than treated as a lifetime fill.

• Suspension and steering

  Control arms, bushings, ball joints, shock condition and tyre wear pattern — the items that quietly ruin how a European car drives.

• Brakes

  Pad and disc measurement, wear-sensor condition and brake-fluid moisture content, with fluid replaced on interval.

• Intake and combustion health

  Direct-injection engines can accumulate intake-valve deposits. Carbon cleaning is only recommended where symptoms, inspection or diagnostic data indicate it.

The workshop is in Wantirna South, VIC 3152 — approximately 32 minutes from Berwick (3806). Most clients drop the car in the morning and arrange their own transport back to work or home.
